EDUCATION OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

Haerenga ā Kura 2019

Normally at the beginning of each school year, the kura will embark on a week-long trip away. The purpose of the haerenga is to encourage and strengthen whakawhanaungatanga at the start of the year, to learn kōrero about new places, and to encourage the use of Te Reo Māori. In February 2019 the kura spent a week in the Hokianga.
